Terror Tale Magazine

Title: Terror Tales
Name: guti
Country: Italy
Software: ZBrush

This illustration comes from my passion for horror stories of the first part of past-century.
In particular this is inspired by Jules DeGrandin and doctor Trowbridge from the stories of Seabury Quinn...
The two characters are a sort of Horror counter part of Sherlock Holmes and Dr.Watson.
Al the model on the scene are created 100% in zBrush, with the exception of walls and window that are created in 3DSMax and imported in zBrush.
The Image was the result of the composing of multiple zBrush render, plus a little of manipulation in Photoshop for the rays of light, some color/contrast tuning and for the magazine-like titles.
The overall work tooked me several month as I've worked on it discontinuing and only in free time.
Thank you for looking!

Ciao
